Andrew Dickson
Andrew (Drew) Dickson is the Managing Partner of Dickson Capital Management. Previously, from February 2002 to July 2003, he managed a fundamental long-short equity book for Och-Ziff Capital Management in their London office. Prior to his work at Och-Ziff, from July 1998 to December 2001, he was an equity analyst at Fidelity Investments, based first in Hong Kong and thereafter in London. At Fidelity, he was responsible for researching and analysing industrial and technology sectors. Before joining Fidelity, he was the Director of Research and Trading for GSC Energy, a risk management and commodity trading firm in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. As an expert in commodity derivatives, he was often featured in the financial media, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and on CNN.
Mr. Dickson has an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, with specialties in Analytic Finance and International Economics, a BS in Management-Finance from Purdue University , and has served as a guest lecturer at the London Business School.
Daniel Subin
Daniel Subin joined Dickson Capital Management in June 2006, as an equity analyst specializing in technology and media. His responsibilities include fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and idea generation. He worked the two previous years, from February 2004 until April 2006, as an equity analyst in London at Sandell Asset Management and Sthenos Capital. Prior to moving to the buy side, Dan worked for over ten years at Merrill Lynch, from August 1993 to May 1996 in New York City and from May 1996 to February 2004 in London , where he was Director of Global Equity Technology Sales for institutional clients. Dan graduated in 1993 with a BA in History from Dartmouth College.
